Since a wave of retirements in the early '90s, UC Santa Cruz has replaced a quarter of its faculty. In this special feature, we present ten of nearly one hundred newcomers. On the eve of the twenty-first century, this new generation of scholars is building upon the campus's reputation for academic excellence.
